If you play DFS, stack these players during Wild Card weekend for a chance at optimizing your FanDuel and DraftKings scores. Follow Elliot on Twitter @BerkovitsElliot.
Welcome to the playoffs, everyone. With the regular season behind us it’s time to go all in on DFS! Wild Card weekend will feature some of the NFL’s top defenses, which makes choosing a DFS lineup all the more difficult.
With the playoffs beginning and DFS slates shrinking considerably I will feature only one stack of the week moving forward. As I said all regular season, DFS is about the matchups and this week is no different. I think the offense with the most favorable matchup this weekend is the Dallas Cowboys and I would recommend starting as many Cowboys as possible.
Dak Prescott and Amari Cooper (Dallas)
The Cowboys will host the Seattle Seahawks on Saturday night in a game that I think will have a lot more scoring than most would expect. The Cowboys offense has been completely revitalized by the addition of receiver Amari Cooper, giving them a true No. 1 receiver, while also boasting one of the best backs in the league, Ezekiel Elliot.
With this game being played in Dallas, I think Dak Prescott and Cooper are must starts. In their last five games at home, Prescott has averaged over 21 points per game while Cooper is averaging a whopping 26 points per game. If that wasn’t enough to convince you, in the Seahawks last five games they have surrendered 10 or more fantasy points to 9 different WR/TE, which even makes guys like Cole Beasley and Blake Jarwin very appealing options as well.
This game should come down to the wire and could go either way, but I think Dak and the rest of this Cowboys offense steps up late in the game to pull off a huge playoff victory.
Prediction: Dallas 27, Seahawks 23
