Six teams are on a bye this week, so playing the fantasy football matchups the right way can have an especially big impact on your teams in Week 11. Here’s a rundown on this week’s matchups:
Quarterback
Dak Prescott (DAL at Falcons, 23.6 F.P.P.G., according to FantasyPros.com)
Completing over 65% of his passes over the past two weeks and averaging over 250 yards in his past three outings, Dak Prescott has been quietly finding his mid-season form. Although the Cowboys are a run-heavy offense, the added asset of Amari Cooper has allowed Dallas to find some answers in the passing game. Atlanta gives up an average of 23.6 fantasy points to opposing QBs this season thus giving Dak a great matchup this week.
Verdict: Start as high-end QB2
Kirk Cousins (MIN at Bears, 16.0 F.P.P.G.)
Khalil Mack is finally back and he showed that sacking Matthew Stafford twice last week. With Chicago’s defense holding opposing QBs to 16.0 fantasy points this year, Kirk Cousins doesn’t seem like that great of an option. The Chicago defense feasts on turnovers and a QB that has turned the ball over 11 times this season certainly gives Cousins owners some worry.
Verdict: Downgraded to a QB2.

Eli Manning (NYG vs Buccaneers, 24.1 F.P.P.G.)
Simply going with the good matchup on this one. Tampa Bay is a bottom three fantasy defense when it comes to quarterbacks. Eli has too many weapons on that offense and Tampa Bay can’t stop the pass.
Verdict: Viable streaming option, especially with six teams on bye this week.
Running Back
Phillip Lindsay (DEN at Chargers 19.1 F.P.P.G.)
An exciting playmaker is Phillip Lindsay. What makes him a valuable asset is also his ability to catch the ball, giving him a steady role in Denver. The Chargers rushing defense isn’t too formidable and even if LAC gets up early, there is still some junk time work in store for Lindsay.
Verdict: Start as solid RB2.
Marlon Mack (IND vs Titans, 13.2 F.P.P.G.)
Tennessee is giving up just 13.2 fantasy points per game to running backs this season, only behind Baltimore among all NFL teams. Mack is a talented playmaker but the run defense is so strong I think Andrew Luck will have to have a big day through the air.
Verdict: Downgraded to RB2.
Wide Receiver
Tyler Boyd (CIN at Ravens, 17.8 F.P.P.G.)
Cincinnati has been an inconsistent offense throughout the season. Matching up against a talented Ravens defense has me worried about Tyler Boyd’s production this week.
Verdict: Downgraded to fringe WR2/WR3.
Alshon Jeffery (PHI at Saints, 34.4 F.P.P.G.)
Philadelphia will have to throw it a lot in order to keep up with the Saints in what is an estimated shootout. Jeffery’s established rapport with Carson Wentz and the Saints giving up the most fantasy points to opposing wideouts on a per game basis makes me think Jeffery steps up big here.
Verdict: Start with confidence.
Larry Fitzgerald (ARI vs. Raiders, 25.5 F.P.P.G.)
Larry Fitzgerald has been very productive as soon as Byron Leftwich took duties as offensive coordinator. The Raiders defense isn’t stopping anyone anytime soon and I think Fitz takes another step forward this week.
Verdict: Upgraded into WR2 consideration.
Tight End
Ricky Seals-Jones (ARI vs Raiders, 10.2 F.P.P.G.)
Ricky Seals-Jones has also been benefiting from Byron Leftwich as the offensive coordinator. Seals-Jones got nine targets last week and he’ll look to build that against a Raiders team that is generous to tight ends.
Verdict: Worth streaming this week.
Evan Engram (NYG vs Buccaneers, 11.1 F.P.P.G.)
Evan Engram is one of the aforementioned weapons Eli Manning has in this Giants offense. Tight end has been a disappointing fantasy position this season and Engram has the ability to have a breakout game ahead against the Buccaneers.
Verdict: Start with confidence.
Eric Ebron (IND vs Titans, 3.3 F.P.P.G.)
Eric Ebron has produced great fantasy outings this season but he is still a risky person to start. Andrew Luck loves to throw to his tight ends but the Titans are statistically fantastic against opposing tight ends.
Verdict: Given the lack of depth in TE, start but limit expectations.
