Which players will be this week’s T.Y. Hilton, Alvin Kamara and Jared Goff? Let’s take a stab at predicting Week 10’s top FanDuel plays and assemble a few lineups while we’re at it.
How I Play: While I do believe that certain kinds lineups do have a better chance in GPP compared to 50/50, I normally do not construct my lineups with this in mind. I create two or three of the best lineups I can, then join contests based on how they might best play in that particular payout structure.
Quarterback
Dak Prescott (DAL at Falcons) ($8,800) — He has at least 26 points in three of his past four games. Dez Bryant and Terrance Williams are both expected to play against a mediocre Falcons defense in their comfy dome.
Also Like: Ryan Fitzpatrick (TB vs. Jets) ($6,100); Matthew Stafford (DET vs. Browns) ($8,200)
Running Back
Carlos Hyde (SF vs. Giants) ($6,700) –– Hyde has the second most targets and third most receptions among all backs. He’s failed to top at least 10 points in just two games, and has four games of 15-plus. The 49ers are likely to lean on him against a struggling (to put it nicely) defense.
Rex Burkhead (NE at Broncos) ($4,700) — An extreme bargain play that could really pay off if Burkhead is able to keep benefitting from the absence of Chris Hogan. He caught all 7 of his targets before the bye for 68 yards. Starting any NE back is always risky, but Burkhead won’t need to do much to earn his keep.
Also Like: Orleans Darkwa (NYG at 49ers) ($5,300); LeSean McCoy (BUF vs. Saints) ($8,200)
Wide Receiver
Marvin Jones Jr. (DET vs. Browns) ($6,400) — No receiver has more targets over the last three games than Jones, and he has at least 15 points in each of those, including 26.2 last week. You’re getting an WR1 at a low-WR2 price. Home game against the Browns is a great situation.
Antonio Brown (PIT at Colts) ($9,300) — I don’t trust Roethlisberger enough to stack him with Brown, but I do trust the Steelers offense to do some major damage overall in Indianapolis. The Colts allow the seventh most FanDuel points to opposing receivers.
Sterling Shepard (NYG at 49ers) ($5,700) — Did you ever think you’d get the Giants No. 1 receiver for this price in 2017? Well, it’s not as good of a thing as it used to be, but the Giants should be throwing plenty in this one and K’Waun Williams, who has allowed 76 percent of his targets to be caught, is a very soft matchup for Shepard.

Tight End
Rob Gronkowski (NE at Broncos) ($8,100) — The league’s best tight end gets one of the best FanDuel matchups for tight ends (14.47 ppg, 3rd most). This is one of those weeks you pay for Gronk.
Also Like: Cameron Brate (TB vs. Jets ($5,700)
Kicker
Ryan Succop (CIN at Titans) ($4,800)
Also Like: Kai Forbath (MIN at Redskins) ($4,800)
Defense
Rams vs. Texans ($5,400)
Also Like: JAC vs. Chargers ($5,200)
