Falcons’ Desmond Trufant Ruled Out, a Boost for Stephon Diggs

Atlanta Falcons’ cornerback Desmond Trufant has officially been ruled out of Sunday’s matchup versus the Minnesota Vikings, removing a key piece of the Falcons’ effective secondary. The most likely beneficiaries of Trufant’s absence will be Vikings’ quarterback Case Keenum and wide receiver Stefon Diggs. Diggs is explosive, and without Trufant, the Falcons’ secondary will struggle to contain both Diggs and wide receiver Adam Thielen. Read more.

Colts’ Ryan Kelly Ruled Out, Bad News for Colts Offense

Indianapolis Colts center Ryan Kelly (concussion) has officially been ruled out for the team’s Week 13 matchup with the Tennessee Titans, per Mike Chappell. All Colts offensive players are likely to suffer to some degree with Kelly out and owners should be especially aware of how Jacksonville’s voracious pass rush is going to have a field day.

Adrian Peterson a Game-Day Decision

This hurts his value even more as the Cardinals play in the afternoon slate this weekend. Behind Peterson, Kerwynn Williams and D.J. Foster should get the majority of the snaps, making it difficult to find any value in the Cardinals backfield this weekend (even if Peterson does play). Read more.

Aaron Rodgers Getting Closer to the Field

Rodgers was throwing from up to 50 yards during pregame warmups on Sunday night and looks to be trending toward full health. It would be a surprise if Rodgers is not under center when first eligible against the Panthers in Week 15.

Robert Woods Targeting Week 15 Return

Woods sat out last week’s game with a shoulder injury and has yet to resume practicing. Sammy Watkins and Cooper Kupp will again work as L.A’s. top targets Sunday at Arizona. Kupp has the better matchup of the two as Watkins is likely to be shadowed by Patrick Peterson and Kupp has WR2 value in PPR leagues. Read more.

Tom Brady, Danny Amendola Not on Injury Report

here was never any doubt that either player would sit this one out. Brady has excellent history against Buffalo and hasn’t shown any signs of slowing down at 40 years old. He’ll remain an elite QB1. Amendola has more opportunity with Chris Hogan (shoulder) still sidelined, but he hasn’t really capitalized. Read more.
