Week 12 is in the books and folks, and we’re on to the last week before the fantasy football playoffs! For the teams looking for that one player that can win them the championship all by himself, most likely he doesn’t exist on the waivers this late. What we can do is reload our teams with good depth and high upside to ensure that our stretch runs through the playoffs have the highest possible chance of making it all the way to the end.

Josh Gordon (CLE) — For those who frequently comb through 5thDownFantasy.com, you may have noticed a few weeks ago I listed Josh Gordon as a stash for the playoffs. Well, here he comes! It’s almost too good to be true, I mean, assuming he is the same player we saw a little over 1000 days ago. He may no longer be available, but if for some reason he does, grab him immediately. He’s a special player to be available heading into Week 13 and is on an offense that is starving for points and that will most likely be playing from behind every week, If Gordon can even put up WR2 numbers, he could be the difference between a 4th place finish and a 1st.
Jacquizz Rodgers (TB) — With Doug Martin exiting the game in Week 12 against the Falcons with a concussion, he is at risk of missing this week’s game against the Packers. Rodgers filled in for Martin as the lead back for the Buccs in the first three games of the season. Except for a disastrous game in Minnesota, Rodgers did a nice job toting the rock for 67 yards and touchdown on 19 attempts against Chicago in Week 2 and then broke the century mark against the Giants in Week 4 on 19 carries. If Martin can’t suit up, Quizz is back into fantasy relevance at just the right time.
Marquise Goodwin (SF) — With Pierre Garcon out ,Goodwin is the WR1 in this offense. Over the course of his last 5 games he’s hasn’t scored less then 6 fantasy points and with Jimmy G waiting in the wings, we could see those numbers improve in the coming weeks. The speedster is available in around 75% of leagues and I’m telling you, if you’re looking for some flex depth, add this speedster for some upside that could propel you lineup to fantasy stardom.
Cooper Kupp (LAC) — I’ve actually really liked this guy since the beginning of the season. He’s exactly what Goff needed and with Robert Woods out, Kupp has been thrown into a larger workload and he did not disappoint in Week 12 with eight receptions for 116 yards. That is a good day to hang your hat on for any receiver but if you look back a couple weeks even before Kupp got the promotion he had really been coming on. He tallied six receptions in a pair of games before this explosion. While the volume is there for the typical slot man, look for him to continue to produce all over the field as long as Woods is out.
