Week 1 is officially in the books. As always week one either confirmed your conviction in the team you drafted, or you may already be losing sleep because your team completely underperformed.
And of course, there are always injuries. We once again say goodbye to Dak Prescott and the Cowboys’ hopes of being relevant this season. You may have even had high hopes for Elijah Mitchell, but may now be feeling the pain of his loss. It is the unfortunate part of the game.
No matter how you may be feeling about your team, remember it’s just one week. There are plenty more to go. So, put Week 1 in the past, and let’s get ready to dominate Week 2 with these streaming quarterbacks and defenses.
Quarterbacks to stream in Week 2

Carson Wentz (WAS)
Carson Wentz was booted out of Indianapolis unceremoniously. However, in Week 1 he showed that he still has a big arm. Not to mention some great weapons to throw to. Wentz was the number three overall quarterback on the week with over 300 passing yards and four touchdowns.
Look for him to have another multi-touchdown game with plenty of passing yards against a Detroit defense that’s not very good on defense.
Tua Tagovailoa (MIA)
Tua Tagovailoa has a great opportunity to take the next step this season. In week one his numbers were fine, but not overly impressive. However, if you watched any of the games there is much more optimism about what this team could be moving forward.
All Tua has to do is get the ball into the hands of his playmakers, and they can take care of the rest. Tyreek Hill is still Tyreek Hill, Jaylen Waddle is facing number two corners and defensive backs, and the backfield is full of speed and play-making ability with Edmonds and Mostert. Look for Tua to have a nice game against a Ravens defense that gave up 307 yards to Joe Flacco.
Matt Ryan (IND)
I get it. Matt Ryan looked unprepared and well a little old against the Houston Texans of all teams. Yet, this week he gets to play against a Jaguars team that gave up 300-plus yards and four touchdowns to the aforementioned Carson Wentz. This Colts offense will get better as the season progresses, and no doubt Ryan will look to rebound from an embarrassing performance. With a chip on his shoulder, good weapons, and a good offensive line look to see Ryan bounce back with a much better game this coming week.
Defense/Special Teams
Bengals D/ST
The Bengals were a surprise defense last season in fantasy, and are still pretty good this season. This week they get to play a Cowboys team with Cooper Rush as the starting quarterback. No Dak means more problems. Dallas already had a depleted offensive line, but now with no real starting quarterback, they will be in real trouble throughout this season. The Bengals should be able to take full advantage of this depleted Dallas offense.
Packers D/ST
Last week proved to be a challenge for the Packers team as a whole. The Vikings’ offense dominated them, and the Vikings’ defense held the Packers to just seven total points on the day. But, do not be afraid to go back in this week on the Packers’ defense. They face a Chicago team trying to find their identity, and with a bad offensive line.
Green Bay should be able to take full advantage and constantly pressure Justin Fields throughout the game. They may even force him into a few mistakes that can lead to big opportunities for this Packers Defense. Start them with confidence heading into Week 2.
Browns D/ST
The Browns play against the Jets. Enough said. But, of course, I’ll elaborate. Joe Flacco did post over 300 yards last week against the Ravens, but it took nearly 60 passes to get there. If Flacco continues to throw at this rate he is bound to throw a few more interceptions along with it.
The Jets too are hurting on the offensive line without Mekhi Becton. Miles Garrett will certainly be able to beat anyone in front of him. Look for Flacco to be playing on his heels with a dangerous pass rush in his face. Start the Browns’ defense without thinking twice about it.
