Last week’s streamers had dominant performances that may turn them into every-week starters. Tua Tagovailoa posted a 469-yard and six-touchdown game. Who would have expected that type of high-flying, exciting, and utterly dominant performance?
Carson Wentz started rough, and by half time you were kicking yourself for starting him. You probably thought your day was done until he went off in the second half.
Then, there was Matt Ryan. Hopefully, you were not in a position to have to start him. It looks like he’s just done. He will most certainly not be starting in any of my lineups any time soon. With all that said, week two is now history. It’s time to look ahead to this week’s streaming options.
Week 3 streaming quarterbacks
Tua Tagovailoa (MIA)
Are we chasing this dominant game by Tua? Well maybe. If you have an every-week starter then I would probably start them ahead of Tua this upcoming week. Tua gets the challenge of facing the best defense in the NFL through the first two weeks of the season.
With that being said, Tua showed what he could potentially be. This offense also showed that it has no ceiling. With playmakers like Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle, this offense can break loose at any time. I could see Tua having more success than Stafford and Tannehill against the Bills just based on good coaching and elite weapons.

Kirk Cousins (MIN)
The Minnesota Vikings get the opportunity to play a Detroit Lions team that looks to be much improved. Well at least on offense. Cousins should be able to take full advantage of this Lions Defense that gave up 38 points in week one, and 27 points in Week 2.
With the Lions’ offense looking great, this may just be a shootout. High-scoring games with bad defenses are a fantasy feast. Look to see Cousins bounce back this week. He should eat all game long against this Lions Defense.
Jared Goff (DET)
This may not be the Rams’ offense, but Goff has proven that he is still a quality quarterback. In week 2 Goff has a monster game. He finished with 256 passing yards and 4 touchdowns.
He now gets to play against a Minnesota defense that is inconsistent on defense. As mentioned above this game could be a shootout where both offenses have great games. Start Goff, and all of his weapons this week.
Week 3 streaming defenses
Seattle D/ST
This week Seattle gets to play Atlanta. Need I say more? Atlanta has shown some promise here and there, but the offense is not well coached and they haven’t seemed to be able to get the ball into Kyle Pitts’s hands. With that being said Mariotta could be in for a multi-turnover game at any time, so do not be surprised if this Seahawks defense has a good week.
Eagles D/ST
The Eagles as a collective have looked really good to start the season. This team could be dangerous this year. This defense has had two really solid weeks. This week they get a hot Commanders team that did have some struggles in the first half of last week.
Wentz has played well to start the season, but he is prone to turnovers and mental errors. This Eagles’ defense is not one to make mistakes against. The Eagles should win on both sides of the ball, and net another solid outing for your fantasy team.
