Week 5 DraftKings Plays: I hope you guys listened to my picks last week as, hopefully, I wasn’t the only one who made money! Last week players such as James White and Giovani Bernard returned huge value and were the focal points of multiple lineups that scored over 200 points and one lineup with over 220 points! Last week, I focused heavily on game script and this week I will do more of the same. Just to be clear, I almost never recommend studs as this article is primarily meant for low priced options to pair with studs. Let’s get right into it.

Quarterback/Wide Receiver
Blake Bortles and Keelan Cole (Jacksonville; $5,500, $4,900)
Despite the talented of the Jacksonville defense, I believe that Patrick Mahomes will still be able to put points on the board for his team. That being said, Blake Bortles will be throwing the ball all game long and while Keelan Cole has been streaky, he has the matchup of dreams against this depleted Chiefs secondary. T.J. Yeldon is also a nice option as his pass-catching ability provides a safe floor for his fantasy outlook.
Marcus Mariota and Taywan Taylor (Tennessee; $6,100, $4,000)
Marcus Mariota was sizzling hot last week and should have a good game versus a beatable Bills secondary. Tre’Davious White is essentially the lone bright spot in the secondary and he will be shadowing Corey Davis the whole game. Tawan Taylor should find opportunities to stick it to this Bills defense.
Matthew Stafford and Kenny Golladay (Detroit; $5,700, $6,000)
Even with unknowns, Aaron Rodgers will find a way to move the offense against Detroit’s suspect defense. Matthew Stafford will be spreading the wealth just like he always does, however, and after a down week for Kenny Golladay people will be off him more than usual. Marvin Jones always finds a way to do well against the Packers so if you went with Marvin instead than I would not blame you.
Running Back
Aaron Jones (Green Bay, $4,300)
With Jamaal Williams struggling and the possibility having almost none of their starting receivers available, the Packers will rely on Aaron Jones’ explosiveness to move down the field. Detroit also has one of the worst run defenses in the league and was obliterated by Ezekiel Elliott last week.
Derrick Henry (Tennessee, $4,400)
This is strictly for GPP contests only as the risk here is insanely high. If Henry can’t do anything against this lackluster Bills defense, I will never speak of him again in this recommendation series.
Wide Receiver
John Brown (Baltimore, $5,600)
If you would have told me that Joe Flacco and John Brown would be a dynamic duo to start of the 2018-2019 season about a month and a half ago, I would have laughed at you. Now, through four weeks of football, John Brown has looked possessed and ready to shake off his injury-riddled past (although sickle cell anemia obviously isn’t his fault). He has a solid matchup this week against a Cleveland defense that allowed 45 points last week.
Tight End
Jared Cook (Oakland, $4,800)
Until Jared Cook gets the respect he deserves price wise, I will be owning him in at least 25 percent of my lineups. He’s averaging over 20 DK points per game and is still just the fifth most expensive tight end.
Defense
Tennessee ($4,000)
Besides a fluke against Minnesota, Josh Allen hasn’t proven that he’s ready for NFL level games yet. Although his offensive weapons are certainly contributing to his failure, there are times where he just looks lost on the field. Tennessee should capitalize on this turnover machine.
