Week 6 Waiver Wire Pickups: Week 5 of the 2018 NFL season is in the books, and that means it’s time to look at waiver wire pickups. Most leagues’ waivers process on Wednesday, so this article will be posted every Tuesday. The percentages next to a player’s name explain what percentage of an FAAB budget should go toward that player in a 12-team PPR format.

Week 6 Waiver Wire: Quarterbacks
Jameis Winston (TB, 1-2%)
Now back from a three-game suspension, Jameis Winston is Tampa Bay’s starting quarterback in the game with the second-highest total of the week at 57.5. In an expected shootout, Winston is a string start in Week 6.
Week 6 Waiver Wire: Running Backs
Corey Clement and Wendell Smallwood (PHI, 12-14%)
With Jay Ajayi on Injured Reserve with a torn ACL, Corey Clement and Wendell Smallwood will assume the between-the-tackles role for the reigning Super Bowl champions. Both are worth an add, with an edge to Smallwood because he has three receptions in three consecutive weeks and Clement is coming off an injury.
Alfred Morris (SF, 4-6%)
Matt Breida sprained his ankle in the 49ers’ Week 5 game against the Cardinals and he has been banged up all year, so Alfred Morris is in line for more work with Breida nursing his injuries. The Jimmy Garoppolo-less 49ers are not a good offense and Morris isn’t a great pass-catcher, but he is worth an add because of his upside if Breida misses time.
Ronald Jones (TB, 4-6%)
Ronald Jones was active for the first time in Week 4 and could assume the lead role in Tampa Bay coming off the Buccaneers’ bye week. Jones struggled as a receiver in college and Tampa Bay’s offensive line is subpar, but the second-round rookie is worth adding based on potential volume.
Week 6 Waiver Wire: Wide Receivers
Keke Coutee (HOU, 10-12%)
Keke Coutee has back-to-back double-digit point weeks in fantasy football, and he has seen more opportunity than Will Fuller over the last two weeks. The Texans passing offense is dynamic and Coutee has WR2 potential if he can overtake Fuller on the target totem pole for good.

Geronimo Allison (GB, 10-12%)
Randall Cobb is nursing an injury and hasn’t exactly been a bill of clean health over the last few years, but Geronimo Allison will likely return after missing Week 5 with a concussion. If any owner’s panicked due to the injury and dropped him, he is worth adding as a starting wideout in an Aaron Rodgers offense.
Mohamed Sanu (ATL, 2-4%)
Mohamed Sanu is still ahead of rookie Calvin Ridley in terms of usage and now has an easy matchup against Tampa Bay’s league-worst secondary. He has spot start potential for owners struggling with bye weeks in Week 6.
Week 6 Waiver Wire: Tight Ends
Greg Olsen (CAR, 18-20%)
Olsen could return this week and is a top six tight end when healthy. If he is available, definitely add him as a set-and-forget tight end.
Cameron Brate (TB, 3-5%)
With O.J. Howard sidelined, Cameron Brate is the No. 1 tight end for Tampa Bay’s high-scoring offense. With a full workload of snaps in what looks like a high-scoring affair against Atlanta, Brate is a TE1 for Week 6.
