Former Steelers and current free-agent LT Alejandro Villanueva has reportedly signed a two-year, $14 million deal with the Baltimore Ravens, per Ian Rapoport.
Fantasy Impact: Villanueva opts to stay within the AFC North, earning eight million fully guaranteed on a two-year, $14 million contract with the Ravens. The hulking 6’9″, 320-pound Villanueva will likely be used to fill the hole at right tackle after Baltimore traded Orlando Brown Jr. to the Kansas City Chiefs just over a week ago. Villanueva was the only Steelers lineman to rank above a 60 in run-blocking during the 2020 season, as graded by Pro Football Focus. He has shown dominance in pass protection throughout his six-year career in Pittsburgh and will help strengthen Baltimore’s offensive line in 2021, which the team heavily relies upon in its run-centric, RPO-styled offense under OC Greg Roman.
