Alvin Kamara, who was placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list on January 1st, has been participating in live practices remotely with “TVU networks technology,” according to Adam Schefter.
Fantasy Impact: The star running back has been using a live video decoder known as a “transceiver” at home in order to view the Saints’ practices, Schefter noted. It sounds like Sean Payton is doing everything he can to keep Kamara involved in the game plan as he still has a shot to suit up and play on Sunday in New Orleans’ Wild Card matchup with the Chicago Bears. Per league protocol, Kamara will still need to be asymptomatic, pass a cardiac screening, and receive full clearance from the Saints’ medical staff in order to return. Latavius Murray would carry the load if Kamara isn’t cleared in time.
