Brandin Cooks “favorite” to finish second on Cowboys in receptions

Brandin Cooks is likely to receive the second-highest number of targets on the Cowboys in 2023 behind CeeDee Lamb, according to Jon Machota of The Athletic.

Fantasy Impact: Cooks came over to Dallas in an offseason trade from the Texans, and the journeyman wideout has high expectations in 2023. With the departure of Dalton Schultz, who joined Houston this offseason, Cooks is considered the favorite to be Dak Prescott’s second-best target. The 29-year-old wideout had a relatively unproductive season in 2022 and will look to bounce back as a member of the Cowboys.
