Brandon Aiyuk not expected to play Thursday night

According to Adam Schefter of ESPN, WR Brandon Aiyuk is not expected to play for the San Francisco 49ers on Thursday Night Football.

Fantasy Impact: The 49ers take on the New York Giants in a short week, and Aiyuk (shoulder) suffered an injury that took him out periodically during their Week 2 contest. The 49ers are heavy favorites and likely can afford to let Aiyuk rest for the long-term outlook. Deebo Samuel, Jauan Jennings and George Kittle could all see an uptick in production without him.
