According to both Kyle Crabbs of Locked On Dolphins and Marcel Louis-Jacques of ESPN NFL Nation, WR Braxton Berrios has appeared to be the Miami Dolphins’ WR3 so far in training camp.
Fantasy Impact: Berrios was signed to a one-year deal in the offseason, similar to WR Robbie Chosen, but appears to have the lead in the race for WR3 in Miami. The 27-year-old WR spent his first four seasons with the Jets where he had 1,245 scrimmage yards and nine total touchdowns. Though he primarily operated as a slot receiver, he also lined up outside on nearly a third of his snaps in 2022 and was used as a gadget WR on screens and sweeps. In Miami, Berrios will be able to find favorable matchups and schemed-up touches due to the attention that WRs Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle force. Berrios could be a sneaky late-round pick in best ball formats due to his potential for boom weeks on a potent Miami offense.
