Kansas City Chiefs WR Byron Pringle has been tendered as a restricted free agent (RFA), per ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
Fantasy Impact: The Chiefs can opt to match other teams’ offers for the fourth-year wideout or risk losing compensation if they are unwilling to match. Pringle caught 13 receptions for 160 yards and a touchdown during the 2020 regular season. He fits the Chiefs’ offensive scheme well, as his blazing speed spreads the field alongside Tyreek Hill and Travis Kelce. If he stays in Kansas City, his fantasy upside will remain limited due to the amount of talent on the roster, however, if he joins another team in need of a slot wideout, his fantasy ceiling will almost assuredly increase in 2021.
