According to ESPN NFL Nation’s Sarah Barshop, Los Angeles Rams RB Cam Akers was deemed “good to go” by head coach Sean McVay.
Fantasy Impact: Akers returned late last season from a pre-season Achilles tear but dealt with soft-tissue injuries during the 2022 NFL offseason. Akers only averaged 2.6 yards per carry in the playoffs down from his 4.8 in his rookie season, but optimism is that full health will allow him to return to that range. Akers is going on average as the PPR RB18, according to FantasyPros, and in a high-powered offense, Akers has a wide range of outcomes in 2022.
