QB Carson Wentz, who appeared to injure his hand and shoulder in Week 6’s Thursday Night Football game, is receiving looks to determine his status going forward.
Fantasy Impact: Wentz was able to finish the game on Thursday, though it was ugly, so this may just be precautionary. If he misses time, QB Taylor Heinicke will likely be the next man up, though QB Sam Howell, a rookie out of North Carolina, could be an option too. If not, Wentz continues to be a low-end QB2 option in a sputtering offense.
