Cardinals RB Chase Edmonds says he’s “ready to run through a damn wall” as the team’s starter.
Fantasy Impact: “It’s now or never,” Edmonds said this week. “I’ve finally got my opportunity really and truly in front of me to have a pretty big role in this offense. It’s something I’ve been dying for, praying for, since my first three years in the NFL. It seemed like it would never happen, but I’ve finally got this opportunity, and I’ve got to make the most of it.” Edmonds’ opportunity is a big one as the only moves the Cardinals made to address their backfield this offseason were letting Kenyan Drake walk and signing James Conner. Edmonds is expected to be used in more fantasy-friendly situations while Conner wears down stacked boxes between the tackles. Especially in PPR leagues, Edmonds carries some exciting upside entering 2021.
