Chris Godwin said he is feeling his explosiveness is coming back in his second offseason post-ACL injury.
Fantasy Impact: Godwin found the endzone just three times last season to go along with 1,023 yards through the air on 104 receptions. Despite that, Godwin said he was not feeling fully healthy last season. “It was a night and day difference between last year and this year,” Godwin said. “To be out here now, it’s a blessing. It was a lot of hard work. Like you said, I took some much-needed rest right after the season. But I’m feeling really good. I feel really good with where I’m at. It’s a fresh year, fresh opportunities for myself and all the guys around.” The Bucs offense is going to look different this year with the retirement of Tom Brady, but wide receiver coach Brad Idzik has said Godwin “will do a little bit of everything” in the offense this season.
