Christian Kirk caught 1-of-3 targets for 11 yards in Jacksonville’s 13-6 loss to the Texans in Week 5.
Fantasy Impact: Kirk set season-lows in receptions (1), targets (3), and yards (11) in Week 5. It was, by far, his worst game since joining the Jaguars, and before Sunday, he hadn’t gone for fewer than 60 yards in a game this year. This caps off a disturbing trend of Kirk’s yardage falling each week since his 117-yard performance in Week 1. Kirk was Jacksonville’s high-profile free agent prize in the offseason so it’s odd to see his production decrease so steadily. He falls to flex territory until we see how he bounces back and hopefully this was just an anomaly but the yardage decrease trend is alarming.
