Christian Kirksey released by Texans

According to Mike Garafolo of NFL Network, veteran LB Christian Kirksey has been released by the Houston Texans.

Fantasy Impact: Kirksey started all 17 games for Houston last season, stuffing the stat sheet along the way. He played 97% of the snaps and had a pair of interceptions, 124 tackles, seven tackles for loss, three sacks and five passes defended. Kirksey turns 31 on August 31 and is entering his 10th season in the NFL. He will likely find a new home quickly, and the Texans will rely on Christian Harris, Denzel Perryman and Blake Cashman at LB.
