Clyde Edwards-Helaire leads backfield in loss

Clyde Edwards-Helaire rushed for 39 yards on 11 carries and caught two passes for 29 yards in the Chiefs’ 20-17 loss to Buffalo on Sunday.

Fantasy Impact: Edwards-Helaire stepped into the starting role with Isaiah Pacheco out for the week. He wasn’t the most efficient on the ground, but he made a big play as a receiver. Backfield mate Jerick McKinnon scored the touchdown, putting a dampener on Edwards-Helaire’s day. He’s a spot start if Pacheco misses again, but once Pacheco returns he should be back on fantasy benches or the waiver wire.
