Dak Prescott had the stitches removed from his surgically-repaired thumb and is not expected to practice Wednesday ahead of Week 4. As of right now, he is expected to be out again for the Cowboys’ game against the Commanders.
Fantasy Impact: There is optimism that Prescott will be ready to go for Week 5’s matchup against the Rams, though that is still considered somewhat of a long shot. The 29-year-old quarterback injured his thumb in Week 1, and backup QB Cooper Rush has helped lead Dallas to wins in Weeks 2 and 3. Fantasy managers should continue to be patient and hope Prescott will return for Week 5 and beyond.
