Buffalo Bills TE Dawson Knox reportedly worked with a vision specialist to improve his pass-catching ability through hand-eye coordination and depth perception training.
Fantasy Impact: Knox played 12 games for the Bills in 2020, turning 44 targets into just 24 receptions for 288 yards and three touchdowns. Currently, Knox has the opportunity to be the Bills’ TE1 in the 2021 season but he has acknowledged his need to eliminate dropping touchdowns, an issue that surfaced several times throughout last season. The third-year tight end worked with a vision specialist to improve his hand-eye coordination and depth perception that lies at the foundation of catching passes. Rumors of the Bills showing interest in veteran and former All-Pro TE Zach Ertz have been circulating, to which Knox responded, “No matter who they bring in, whether it’s a rookie or All-Pro like Zach, I think it’ll be great just to elevate the competition.” Knox could wind up being a great streaming tight-end in redraft leagues based on his current ECR at TE28 given the extra work he is putting in to improve as a pass-catcher this offseason.
