Devin Singletary signed a one-year, $3.75 million deal with the Houston Texans.
Fantasy Impact: Singletary figures to likely backup Dameon Pierce in the Texans backfield. Pierce should still lead the way in terms of touches, but there is a chance Singletary sees the field more than any backup did for most of last year behind Pierce. This is potentially a messy situation on what is likely going to be a below average offense, but Pierce could still offer mid-end RB2 value from an efficiency standpoint. There is always risk with any running back drafted on day three of the NFL Draft long-term.
