Jordan Raanan of ESPN reports the “prevailing thought” is that the Giants wind up with an Alabama wide receiver with the 11th overall pick.
Fantasy Impact: New York needs help at offensive line and in the secondary, so it would seemingly be a bit of an odd decision to take a wideout with their first-round pick. The team also signed Kenny Golladay to a massive four-year contract this offseason, and they also employ both Sterling Shepard and Darius Slayton. Heisman winner DeVonta Smith is the receiver being linked most closely to the Giants, but his former teammate Jaylen Waddle could be in play as well. It might come down to whether or not the Dolphins take one of them at No. 6 overall.
