Mike Klis of 9 News is reporting that the Broncos are bringing in competition for QB Drew Lock.
Fantasy Impact: “Until Drew proves to be the next great quarterback like the ones Denver has been used to in years past, or ones certain teams around the league have, we’re going to always try and bring in competition,” said Broncos HC Vic Fangio. “But I have confidence Drew can continue to improve.” Lock finished the 2020 season completing 57.3 percent of his passes for 2,933 yards with a 16:15 TD:INT ratio across 13 games. He added 160 rushing yards and three touchdowns on 44 carries. Lock has the tools and a talented supporting cast to be a successful QB, but will need to put all together if he plans on being the Broncos QB of the future. Lock will try to improve on his 2020 sophomore campaign and is currently 28th among all QBs in the latest expert consensus rankings for 2021.
