According to Tom Pelissero of NFL Network, veteran CB Eli Apple is signing a one-year deal with the Miami Dolphins following QB Jalen Ramsey’s injury.
Fantasy Impact: With Ramsey expected to be out until December at best, Apple provides a veteran alternative on the outside. The Dolphins have Xavien Howard out wide, but their other outside corner was likely slated to be rookie CB Cam Smith. Apple provides a veteran option, having started 78 regular season games – and 10 postseason games – in his seven-year career. However, it will be ironic to have WR Tyreek Hill on the same team as Apple given their history.
