Geno Smith announced as the Week 1 starter for the Seahawks

Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll announced that Geno Smith will start Week 1 for Seattle against the Broncos.

Fantasy Impact: Smith started all three preseason games for the Seahawks and will start the opener. He will likely be on a very short leash with Drew Lock right behind him. Smith only holds fantasy value as a QB3 or potentially a super desperate low-end QB2 in superflex and 2-QB leagues.
