James Conner rushed for 27 yards on six carries and caught 4 of 5 targets for only five yards in Sunday’s 37-14 loss to the Rams.
Fantasy Impact: The Cardinals found themselves playing from behind for much of Sunday’s contest, which led to the ground game being largely abandoned. That cut Conner’s carries and rushing yards by more than half compared to the previous two weeks. The veteran RB has been solid running the football since he returned from a month-long absence due to injury, averaging exactly 4.5 yards on 36 attempts over the last three games. However, he has not found the end zone and his usage in the passing game leaves much to be desired. Conner moves forward as a low-end RB2 at best.
