According to Ari Meirov of The 33rd Team, RB James Robinson is signing a deal with the New York Giants.
Fantasy Impact: After going undrafted, Robinson excelled early on with the Jaguars before an Achilles injury slowed him down. Robinson was then traded to the Jets in 2022 and was released by the Patriots earlier in the 2023 offseason. Since his injury, Robinson’s explosion has been noticeably down, rushing for less than three yards per carry in New York after averaging 4.6 his first two seasons in Jacksonville. The Giants are in a position where they might be desperate for RB help if Saquon Barkley sits out, and Robinson can provide some production. He will be competing with veteran RB Matt Breida and rookie RB Eric Gray.
