Jerome Ford rushed for just 19 yards on nine carries in Sunday’s 36-19 loss to the Rams, but he caught all three of his targets for 33 yards and a touchdown.
Fantasy Impact: Ford had three less carries and one less touch overall than backfield mate Kareem Hunt on Sunday. While Ford could not get anything going on the ground against the strong Rams’ run defense, he did give fantasy managers a decent day due to his receiving ability. Ford has averaged more than 16 touches for better than 71 yards of offense per game with one touchdown on the ground and one through the air over the last five weeks. He’s still in the low-end RB2 range.
