His touchdown connection with Deebo Samuel served as arguably the play of the game, where Garoppolo made an impressive tight-window throw to Samuel, who then proceeded to torch the Rams defense for a 57-yard catch-and-run touchdown. Garoppolo will have a friendly matchup with the Panthers in Week 5, where fantasy managers can consider him a borderline QB2.
