San Francisco 49ers quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo completed 25-of-40 passes for 257 yards, two touchdowns, and one interception to go along with one rush for four yards and a fumble lost in a 30-28 loss to the Packers.
Fantasy Impact: Garoppolo wasn’t at his best on Sunday night–losing a fumble and throwing a pick– but played well enough to keep the 49ers in the game. He engineered an excellent two-minute drill in the fourth quarter and tossed the go-ahead touchdown to Kyle Juszczyk with less than a minute remaining in the ball game. Unfortunately for San Francisco, they left a little too much time on the clock and Aaron Rodgers completed two clutch passes Davante Adams that led to a game-winning field goal by Mason Crosby as time expired. Backup quarterback Trey Lance came in the game for the final play of the first half, rushing for a one-yard score. Despite his turnovers, this was still a competitive game and Garoppolo will remain the starting QB for San Francisco in their Week Four tilt against the Seahawks.
