Joe Flacco completed 23 of 44 passes for 254 yards with two touchdowns and one interception in Sunday’s 36-19 loss to the Rams.
Fantasy Impact: Making his first start of the season and just his 10th going back to 2019, Flacco played about as well as anyone should have expected Sunday, arguably better. Granted, he was not incredibly efficient, completing only 52.3 percent of his throws. However, the 38-year-old veteran did average 11.0 yards per completion while tossing a couple of TDs. Flacco had the Browns’ offense moving better than either Dorian Thompson-Robinson (concussion) or P.J. Walker in their respective chances this season. Flacco should keep the starting gig as Cleveland searches for a spot in the playoffs down the stretch.
