The New York Giants have agreed to terms with wide receiver John Ross on a one-year, $2.5 million deal that includes $1 million guaranteed, according to NFL insider Mike Garafolo.
Fantasy Impact: Ross was the ninth overall pick in the 2017 NFL Draft after running a 4.22 40-yard dash but has dealt with a number of injuries over the last four years. In 2020, he fell out of favor in Cincinnati before eventually landing on injured reserve with a foot injury after appearing in three games and catching two of his seven targets for 17 yards. Ross gets a fresh start in New Jersey while the Giants take a low-risk gamble on a wide receiver who has the ability to take the top off of opposing defenses.
