With QB Justin Fields likely on the move this offseason, the Chicago Bears are reportedly remaining patient amid an unspectacular trade market for the fourth-year passer.
Fantasy Impact: ESPN’s Dan Graziano said that he hasn’t yet heard any indication that Caleb Williams won’t go No. 1 to Chicago, likely meaning the Bears will move off of Fields. But the front office might stay patient and wait for the QB market (Kirk Cousins, Baker Mayfield) to play out first before leveraging Fields. However, the Bears may no longer be able to fetch a second-rounder, as teams supposedly are hesitant about Fields’ looming fifth-year option decision, one that isn’t present in QBs Sam Darnold or Drew Lock’s contracts.
