Former Philadelphia Eagles RB Kerryon Johnson has been waived from Injured Reserve (IR) with an injury settlement. This will allow Johnson to sign with another team once he’s back to full-health, per Field Yates.
Fantasy Impact: In May, Johnson was signed off of waivers by the Eagles but was recently placed on IR before being waived by the team via injury settlement. The fourth-year running back had his best season with Detroit as a rookie in 2018, averaging 5.4 YPC and scoring four total touchdowns across 10 games. Expect a team to eventually sign the injury-prone running back once he is able to fully recover from a knee injury he sustained this summer.
