The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have selected Kyle Trask with the No. 64 overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft.
Fantasy Impact: With seven-time Super Bowl-winning QB Tom Brady returning to lead the Bucs in 2021, Kyle Trask will be able to receive tutelage and gain incredible insight into adapting his game at the next level. Head coach Bruce Arians is a known quarterback guru and Bucs’ offensive coordinator Byron Leftwich is a brilliant mind as well, giving Trask three separate sources of knowledge and support during his rookie season in the league. Trask threw for 43 TDs and eight interceptions for over 4,200 yards in 2020, earning Heisman Finalist recognition. A clean pocket is often needed for the less than mobile quarterback, but when given time and talented receivers, Trask can deliver accurate passes into tight windows or outside over the shoulder of his receivers. Trask will also provide insurance in case the soon-to-be 44-year old Brady needs rest or suffers a setback.
