Kyle Trask slotted as co-starter on initial depth chart

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have listed third-year QB Kyle Trask as the team’s co-starter heading into their first preseason game on Friday.

Fantasy Impact: Trask has only appeared in one game after being a second-round pick out of Florida in the 2021 NFL Draft. Playing behind Tom Brady, he hasn’t had much opportunity, though he was routinely listed as the team’s QB3. With an opening this season in the post-Brady era, Trask has to compete with sixth-year QB QB Baker Mayfield, who has much more in-game experience than Trask. His preseason will be crucial for receiving playing time in the regular season in 2022.
