Malcolm Brown carried the ball seven times for 15 yards, adding 13 receiving yards on one catch in Sunday’s victory over the Panthers.
Fantasy Impact: The veteran RB is back where he started, in a Rams uniform. Brown spent his first six seasons in the league with the Rams, stopping in Miami for a one-year stint in 2021. With Cam Akers inactive Sunday and seemingly on his way out, Brown secured the backup spot to Darrell Henderson Jr. and will likely carry that designation moving forward. Rams head coach Sean McVay has shown trust in Brown in the past and in 2020 he saw a career-high 101 carries. With Henderson’s injury history, stashing Brown might be a savvy move, especially if Akers does end up getting traded.
