According to Adam Schefter, the San Francisco 49ers have signed RB Marlon Mack to their active roster after injuries to RBs Elijah Mitchell and Tyrion Davis-Price.
Fantasy Impact: RB Jeff Wilson operated as San Francisco’s lead back in Week 2 after Mitchell’s injury, but Mack was on San Francisco’s practice squad. With Davis-Price out, Mack is getting his chance after being cut by the Houston Texans this offseason. Mack could push for the team’s RB2 role behind Wilson, and with how unpredictable the 49ers are, could be in line for more work if he plays well in Week 3.
