Russell Wilson compiled his best game as a Bronco, completing 23-of-36 passes for 247 yards, three touchdowns, and one interception while tacking on an additional 57 rushing yards against the Chiefs on Sunday.
Fantasy Impact: For the first time in the 2022 season, Wilson had more than two passing touchdowns while also setting a season-high in rushing yards. Despite the stunning output, Denver simply could not catch a break, as Wilson was forced to exit the game after taking a huge hit in the fourth quarter that seemed to render him momentarily unconscious. He was quickly removed from action as well as the team’s comeback attempt, and the Broncos would end up falling 34-28 to Kansas City. Wilson will likely need to pass the concussion protocols to be cleared in time for Denver’s tilt with Arizona in Week 15. If he cannot make it back in time, QB Brett Rypien would be in line to start.
