Broncos offensive coordinator Justin Outten said Thursday that quarterback Russell Wilson will not play in any of Denver’s preseason games according to thednvr.com’s Zac Stevens.
Fantasy Impact: Outten said Wilson “really loves this game [and] always wants to play” but he hasn’t asked to play this preseason. Wilson has already developed chemistry with his offense, especially wide receiver Courtland Sutton, in training camp. Fantasy managers should have no doubt Wilson will hit the ground running on Monday Night Football in Week 1 on the road against his former team, the Seattle Seahawks. Managers should even relish the fact Russ opens with his revenge game to hopefully start the fantasy season off right.
