ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports that the New York Jets have released veteran tight end Ryan Griffin.
Fantasy Impact: Griffin started 12 games last season for the Jets and caught 27 passes for 261 yards and two touchdowns. The Jets signed former Bengals tight end C.J. Uzomah and former Vikings tight end Tyler Conklin in the offseason, clearing the way for the team to cut Griffin.
