Kansas City Chiefs WR Sammy Watkins (calf) is expected to suit up for Wednesday’s practice, a good sign for his availability in Super Bowl LV on Sunday.
Fantasy Impact: Watkins has been dealing with a calf injury since the end of the regular season, missing both the AFC Divisional and AFC Championship games but is expected to return as a participant in Wednesday’s practice. Expect Watkins to see several targets if he is cleared to play, as the defensive coverage will be honed in on stopping Tyreek Hill and Travis Kelce. The former Clemson wideout made several huge plays in the 2019-20 Super Bowl against the 49ers and could be in a position to replicate these efforts again when they face the Buccaneers in Tampa Bay on Sunday.
