Saquon Barkley won’t sign tender before offseason program

According to Kim Jones of Newsday Sports, RB Saquon Barkley is not expected to sign the franchise tender before the New York Giants’ offseason program starts Monday.

Fantasy Impact: Barkley was tagged over the 2023 offseason, and by not signing his tender yet, he won’t be eligible for the first set of offseason training for the Giants. Barkley and the Giants will continue to work toward a long-term contract to keep the two parties together going forward. Barkley is set to make just over $10 million in 2023 if he plays on the tag.
