According to Ari Meirov of PFF, the Miami Dolphins plan on starting QB Skylar Thompson against Minnesota on Sunday.
Fantasy Impact: Due to concussions to both QBs Teddy Bridgewater and Tua Tagovailoa, Thompson was thrust into action in Week 5. Now, Thompson will get his first career start as a seventh-round rookie out of Kansas State. Thompson passed for 166 yards and an interception and faces a 4-1 Minnesota team. In Week 5, the Dolphins focused on the ground game, rushing for 100-plus with RB Raheem Mostert. With Thompson at QB, downgrade Miami’s passing weapons.
