According to John Scmeelk of giants.com, WR Sterling Shepard is off the injury report for the New York Giants ahead of their Week 1 matchup with Tennessee.
Fantasy Impact: In the first six seasons of Shepard’s career, the Oklahoma product has put up at least 50 receiving yards per game in every year except his rookie season. Shepard has been a shoo-in for a few touchdowns a season and 500-plus yards when healthy, but he saw limited time in 2021 due to injury. Opening the season healthy, expect him to play an integral role in the Giants’ passing attack as usual, but his role has to be monitored with the possible emergence of both WRs Kadarius Toney and Wan’Dale Robinson, who each may eat into Shepard’s snaps in the slot.
