According to Adam Schefter of ESPN, the Houston Texans have agreed to a three-year contract extension with RT Tytus Howard worth $56 million with $36.5 million guaranteed.
Fantasy Impact: The Texans also got LT Laremy Tunsil to sign to a three-year deal, meaning both tackle positions are locked up for the majority of rookie QB C.J. Stroud’s first deal. Howard is just 27 and entering his fifth season, playing over 3,200 snaps for the team and starting 54 games. The Texans are prioritizing the trenches, particularly stability.
